This video walks through the process of changing a pollen filter ("cabin filter") on a Peugeot 206.
This is probably the most simple task you can do for yourself, to save money at your service. Just remember to mention it to your mechanic before the service, or leave a note/tag in the service book holder, to show that the filter does NOT need to be replaced by them.
As mentioned in the video, the filter literally just sits on top of 2 screws and a short shelf, so it's just a case to learning to lift it out, so as to be able to do this regular replacement yourself (lift the front right hand corner first, and turn it to take this corner out first.
I do a lot of miles, so I try to replace it twice a year. Most new filters carry a recommended mileage/age for replacement.
Hope this helps.
